The Holland Creek Trail System is a glorious system of trails that
follow the fast-running creek. You can hike from the sea to its spawning
gravels through a lush rainforest. See salmon, wildlife, and waterfalls
galore.
The Ladysmith Festival of Lights is the most spectacular winter event
on Vancouver Island. It features a million Christmas lights. Over ten
thousand visitors attend every year to watch the magical Light Parade
and sip cider under the blazing fireworks.
